DESIGN FOR A HEEL FOR SHOES.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,839, dated June 12, 1906.

Application filed April 23, 1900. Serial No. 14,068- Term of patent 14 years.

To aZZ whom it may concern.-

Beit known that I, HENRY B. HAIGH, a citizen of the United States,residin gin New York, (Brooklyn,) county of Kings, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Heels for Shoes, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part hereof.

Figure 1 is a perspective view of the heel of the shoe, showing my new design. Fig. 2 is a front elevation of the heel.

As shown in the drawings, the loading or material feature of my design consists in the heel B of a shoe provided with ablock of material A, rising slightly above the treadsurface of the heel, as shown more particularly in the front elevation, Fig. 2. The block of material is of crescent shape, located within the outer contour of the heel, with the curve of the block toward the rear of the heel.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The design for a heel of a shoe, as shown and described.
