DESIGN FOR AN AIR-CUSHION.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,543, dated November 13, 1900.
Application filed October 8, 1900. Serial No. 31,935. Term of patent 14 years.

Be it known that we, DANIEL HOGAN, residingin Man hattau borough, in the city, county, and State of New York, and CHRISTIAN \VIL- LIAM MEINEOKE, residing at Jersey City, in the county of Hudson and State of New Jersey, citizens of the United States, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Air-Cushions, of which the following is a specification.
This design consists in an air cushion or seat having a body part with convex outline and shanks, an end opening or narrow passage being extended between the shanks to a center opening in the body.
The design is illustrated in the annexed drawings, in which Figure 1 is a front elevation of the cushion. Fig. 2 is a plan View of the cushion sectioned along a; .00, Fig. 3. Fig. 3 is a transverse section along y 11 Fig. 2.
The bodyof the cushion is shown at 1 with a con vex or curved outline 2. The shanks 3 join or run to the body on a concave edge or reverse curve 4. The end opening or passage 5 between the shanks extends to a Wider central opening or hole 6 in the body.
The design gives a striking and characteristic appearance.
