Be it known that I, FRANK T. KENNEDY, a citizen of the United States, residing at .O maha, in the cou nty of Douglas and State of Nebraska, have invented and produced a new and original Design Jfor Cans or Boxes, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to a new and original design for cans or boxes, and is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in Which- Figure l is a perspective View, and Fig. 2 is a top plan view.
The leading features of my invention reside in a can or box having the general shape of an approximation of a truncated shield, one end of the can or box being narrow and plain or dat and the sides extendingin gradually-Widening curved lines to the top, Which is formed at its opposite ends with convex elevations and a middle elevation of greater height separated from the end elevation by concavities.
In the said drawings the numeral l indicates the can or box, which has approximately the general formation of a truncated shield. One end 2 of the can or box-the truncated end-is narrow as compared with the remaining portions of the box and is plain or fiat. The sides of the box extend from the truncated end in gradually-Widening convex lines 3 to the top, which is formed at its opposite ends with convex elevations 4 and a middle elevation 5 of greater height than the elevations a and which is separated from the lastnamed elevations by concavities 6. 35
My design presents a @an or box of novel, ornamental, and pleasing appearance.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim is- The design for a can or box, substantially as herein shown and described.
