BERNARD JAOQUART, OF SOUTH RIVER, NEW JERSEY.

DESIGN FOR A BRICK OR TILE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,284, dated March 26, 1901.

Application filed February 26,1901. fierial No. 49.004. 'lerm ofpatent 14; years.

irregular outline consists of a fiat bottom line,'

straight side lines, rounded lines connecting the straight bottom line with the straight side lines, and an irregular top line forming a wide dovetailed groove in the brick or tile.

In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 represents a back view of the brick or tile. Fig. 2 represents an end view of the same. Fig. 3 represents a front view, and Fig. 4- is a side view.

The brick or tile is denoted as a Whole by A, and it is of such form that it presents a rectangular figure when viewed from the back, front, and sides. I When viewed in end elevation, the straight bottom line of the brick I or tile is denoted by a, the straight sides by l) c, the curved lines which form the rounded corners by d c, and the wide dovetailed groove formed by the irregular top line by f.

What I claim is- The design for a brick or tile, substantially as shown and described.
