Design No. 3,443, dated April 6, 1869.
DESIGN FOR A TOBACCO-BOX.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part 0! the lame.
To all whom it may concern Beit known that I, GHARLEs PARKER, ofMeriden, in the county of New Haven, and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for Tobacco-Box; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent, in-
Figure 1, a top view; and in Figure 2, a side view.
This invention relates to a design for a round tobaccobox; and in order to the clear understanding of the same, I will proceed to a full description thereof, as illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
The bottom, or lower part A is struck up from a disk of metal, convex upon its under side, and the top B of similar form, but of less convexity, the two edges, at their meeting, forming a double head, or oval edge, and around the top, near the edge, I form a raised head, 0, seen in figs. 1 and 2, the head 0 forming the distinctive characteristic of this design.
Having fully described my invention, wh. t I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The herein-described design for a round tobacco-box.
