DESIGN FOR A CAN OR JAR.

$PECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,065, dated September 10, 1901.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it knownthat I, WILLIAM A. LORENZ, a citizen of the United States, residing in Hartford, in the county of Hartford and State of Connecticut, have invented a new and original Design for Cans or Jars, of which the following is a specification.

My design relates to the external contour of cans, jars, and similar receptacles.

In the drawings, in which similar numerals designate corresponding parts, Figure 1 is a top view, and Fig. 2 a side view, of a can or jar embodying my design.

The body 10 of the can or jar is substantially cylindrical and is provided with a fillet or shoulder 11, which merges into the reduced conical zone 12, above which is the circum- Application filedAugust 12,1901. Serial No. 71,841. Term of patent 14 years.
