DESIGN FOR A CAN OR JAR.
SPECIFICATION forming part oi Design No. 35,365, dated December 3, 1901.
Application filed August 12, 1901. Serial No. 71,848. Term ofpatent 14 years.

Be itknown that 1, WILLIAM A. LORENZ, a citizen of the United States, residing in Hartford in the county of Hartford and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Cans or Jars, of which the following is a specification.
My design relates to the external ornamentation of cans, jars, and similar receptacles.
Figure 1 of the drawings is a plan view, and Fig. 2 a side view, of a can or jar embodying my design.
The substantially cylindrical body 10 of the jar is provided with a series of verticallyfluted bands 11,separated by the intervals 12.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
