DESIGN FOR AN OlL-CLOTH PATTERN.
I, JAMES PATEBSON, of Elizabeth, county of Union, State of New Jersey, have invented or produced a Design for an Oil-Cloth Pattern, of which the following is a specification.
The figure in the accompanying drawing illustrates my design for an oil-cloth pattern, which consists of a series ot' bordered stripes, A, arranged at right angles to similar stripes, B, one series of stripes passing nnder and over the other, as clearly represented in the drawing.
The borders may be ornamented between the lines, as shown atx, or otherwise, and the oblong spaces y between the stripes may he varied like marble, or otherwise ornamented.
