UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.

JOHN W. DALTON, OF SANDWICH, MASSACHUSETTS, ASSIGNOR TO CAPE GOD PRODUCTS COMPANY, A CORPORATION OF MASSACHUSETTS.

DESIGN FOR A TRAY FOR SHELL-FISH.

Application filed June 14, 1912.

To all whom it may concern Be it known that 1, JOHN W. DALTON, a citizen of the United States, residing at Sandwich, Massachusetts, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for Trays for Shell-Fish, of which the follow- .ing is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

My invention herein shown is an ornamental design for a tray for shell fish, and is illustrated in the accompanying drawing, in which- Figure 1 is a plan View, and Fig. 2 an elevation.

The design comprises receptacles of a well known shape, but arranged in a distinctive and ornamental manner around a center in certain relation to the center and to each other, and supported from each other and from the center. As shown, there is a central cup 1 with a series of receptacles arranged around this cup, each of the receptacles having a hinged cover. These re- Specifieation for Design.

Serial No. 703,748.

Patented Feb. 17,1914.

Term of patent 14 years.

ceptacles are supported from the central cup and from each other, the supports from the cups to the receptacles being radial. The receptacles are disposed around the central cup so that the long axis of each receptacle extends in a plane substantially parallel to a. tangent of the central cup. This brings the ends of one opposite the long side of the adjacent receptacle. The receptacles may also be described as having one end of each adjacent to the central cup while its other end directed outwardly, the long open side of each being adjacent the end of the pre ceding receptacle.

I claim The ornamental design for a tray for shell fish as shown. and described.

In testimony whereof, I aflix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
