DESIGN FOR A BEDQUILT.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.

To all whom it 'may concern Be it known that we, FREDERICK WrLLIAM EGER and HENRY H. KURZE, both of the city and county of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and useful Design for the Configuration of a Bed-Quilt; and we do hereby declare the following to be a clear and exact description of the nature thereof, reference being.'l had to the accompanying photographic illustrations. A

In carrying outl our invention, the design may he described as consisting of blocks A and B.

Each block A is subdivided, by means of across, c c, into sections, a a.

Each block B is subdivided, by means of n. cross, d d, into sections, b b.

Thus the sections of one block and tlic'cross of the adjacent block are prominent.

This alternate arrangement of the blocks A B preseuts a pleasing contrast, and the effect of the union of blocks is neat, tasty, and attractive.

'Io increase the ornamental appearance oi the quiltthe crosses c c may have blocks, c, arranged at their centers, while the crosses d d may have open spaces,

f, at their centers.
