REUBEN HALEY, OF BEAVER, PENNSYLVANIA, ASSIGNOR TO UNITED STATES GLASS COMPANY, OF PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA, A CORPORATION OF PENNSYLVANIA.

DESIGN FOR A GLASS VESSEL 0R SIMILAR ARTICLE.

Application filed October 22, 1914. Serial No. 868,142.

To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, REUBEN HALEY, a citizen of the United States, and residing at Beaver, in the county of Beaver and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a certain new, original, and ornamental Design Applied to a Glass Vessel or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof, wherein Figure 1 is a side elevation of a clearglass tumbler showing an application of the new design, and Fig. 2 is a cross-section thereof, taken on line 22 of Fig. 1.

The exterior flutes are concave and the interior flutes fiat, and as the rib-like forma- Specification for Design.

tion between adjacent concave flutes occurs midway the longitudinal edges of a fiat flute, an ornate prismatic effect is produced in the clear glass.

The design is shown applied to a tumbler of conventional form, the shape of which is not claimed.

I claim The ornamental design applied to a glass vessel or similar article, substantially as shown.
