The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.

I, SAMUL LOYD, of New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced anew and original Design in Toy Puzzle-Blocks and Dice, of which the following is a specification.

The nature and object of my design are to represent pieces of Wood or other substance of such proportions that, when correctly fitted together, they will form a cube, and are of such pattern or design that they are adapted for a. game.

In the accompanying drawing- A represents a box, with its cover B, for containing the pieces.

Crepresents the pattern or arrangement of the several pieces when pnt together.

There are six larger pieces, of which, in the accompanying drawing, D represents a side View, and E and J end views. 'lhese are formed of triangular pieces ot' wood molding, so cut that the lines 1 3 and 3 4 form at 3 a right angle, and so that the sides 1 2 3 and 2 3 4 are right-angled triangles, while at the other end, g,
