FIG. 1 is a perspective environmental view of a shake siding panel having a lower edge and having a contoured front face simulating natural wood. Adjacent panels, shown in phantom, illustrate an environment for the shake siding panel and form no part of the claimed invention. FIG. 3 is a side view of the shake siding panel illustrating the contoured lower edge slanting inwardly from the front face and upwardly towards a lower interlocking lip.
