DESIGN FOR SUSPENSION EYELET.
Specification forming part of Design No. 5,608, dated March 5, 1872.
Specification of a Design for a Suspension Eyelet, invented by GEORGE W. AVERELL, of the city, county, and State of New York.
The nature of my design is fully illustrated in the accompanying drawing, in which Figure 1 is a face view of the eyelet, and Fig. 2 a central longitudinal section thereof.
Similar letters of reference indicate corre sponding parts in both figures.
The eyelet-ring a of the device is of beadshape in its transverse section, as shown more particularly in Fig. 2. The suspension ring I) is united with the eyelet-ring by a narrow neck, 0, which is slightly hollow on its face, as shown in Fig. 2. This ring I) is also bead-shaped in its transverse section, and it is radially striated, as shown in Fig. 1.
What I claim as my invention is- A design for a suspension eyelet, substantially as herein described.
