DESIGN FOR A FACE-PLATE FOR METERS OR SIMILAR MEASURING INSTRUMENTS.

Application filed November 21, 1916. Serial No. 132,705.

To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, MARVIN SMITHEY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Lawrenceville, in the county of Brunswick and State of Virginia, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Face- Plate for a Meter or a Similar Measuring Instrument, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

The figure in the drawing is a front View of a face plate embodying my design.

My design is for the face plate of a circular contour having an annular concentric Specification for Design.

Patented May 1'7, 1921.

Term of patent 14 years.

rim or band inclosing a circular field and Within which rim extending diametrically across the field at the center thereof are two horizontal rectangular openings side by side one of which is quite narrow and the other quite wide, and the two occupying substantially the entire circular field from side to side.

I claim- The ornamental design for a face plate for a meter or a similar measuring instrument, as shown and described.
