To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that We, CHARLES H. PATTEN and ROBERT W. OTIS, both citizens of the United States, residing at Providence, in the county of Providence and State of Rhode Island, have invented a certain new, original, and ornamental Design for Clips, of which the following is a specification.

In the accompanying drawings, which form a part of this specification,

Figures 1 and 2 are a front elevation and a side elevation respectively of a clip adapted for use on a pencil or pen holder embodying our design.

The clamping member on the end of the arm has a flat front face adapted for ornamentation and the display of insignia, while the rear or garment engaging face of the clamping member is transversely curved or rounded.
