DESIGN FOR BOTTLE.
Specification forming part of Design No. 6,489, dated March 4, 1873.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HENRY SAWYER, of Chelsea, in the county of Suffolk and State of Massachusetts, have invented a new ornamental Configuration or Design for a Bottle; and do hereby declare the same to be fully described in the following specification and represented in the accompanying drawing, of which- Figure 1 denotes a front elevation. Fig. 2 is a side elevation, Fig. 3 atransverse section, and Fig. 4 a bottom view, of bottle having the external configuration or form constituting such design.
The bottle, at its base or bottom a, is rectangular or square, with rounded corners. From the bottom a upward the body A tapers on two opposite sides, b 1), increasing in width to about the middle of the body, the other two or front and rear sides 0 0 being parallel, or about so,
and each being formed with a circular recess or panel, d, having its boundary or border ein relief. From the tops of the two borders 0, and from the upper parts of the straight sides I) b, the neck B springs, and is curved upward, and terminates in a cylindrical or slightly-con ical head, f, in manner as shown. From the corners of the bottom narrow fillets g extend upward in relief at thejunetions of the sides, and are covered or arched across the base of the neck, in manner as shown.
I claim- The ornamental design or configuration for a bottle, substantially as specified and repre sented.
