Biopsy needle tip

A notched tissue-collection needle configured similarly to a fine-needle-aspiration needle is provided with a cutting edge disposed in the notch and configured to excise tissue into the notch for collection. A stylet may be provided through a lumen of the needle during introduction into a patient body. The needle may be provided with echogenicity-enhancing features.

  1. We claim the ornamental design for a biopsy needle tip, as shown and described.

FIG. 1 is a lower side perspective view of a smooth-surfaced embodiment of a biopsy needle tip of the present invention;

FIG. 2 is a top plan view thereof; and,

FIG. 3 is a right side elevation view thereof, a left side elevation view being a mirror image of FIG. 3.

The ornamental design which is claimed is shown in solid lines in the drawings. The broken line showing is for the purpose of illustrating environmental structure and forms no part of the claimed design. The drawings are not to scale; specifically, FIG. 1 and FIG. 3 each illustrate a portion of the biopsy needle tip shown in FIG. 2. The views are shown broken away to indicate that no particular length of needle is claimed.
