PATENT OFFICE GRAHAM It, SIRWELL, OF BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA DESIGN FOR A GONNECTERFOR ELECTRIC WIRES Application filed. May 15, 1929. Serial No. 31,234. Term of patent 7 years.
. To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, GRAHAM It. SIRWELL, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Beverl Hills, in the county of Los Angeles and ntate of California, have invented a certain new, original, and ornamental Design for Connecters for Electric Wires, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
In the accompanying drawing,
Figure 1 is a View in side elevation of the connecter;
Figure 2 is a View in bottom plan thereof.
The connecter consists essentially of a body having one end of narrow annular form and of reduced diameter; an adjoining smooth surfaced wider annular portion of greatest diameter; a slightly tapered, milled surfaced portion of a greater width immediately adjacent the latter portion and having its greatest diameter substantially equal to that of said annular end portion; and a uniformly tapered, smooth surfaced intermediate portion of greatest width adjoining the milled portion with its greatest diameter less than the smaller diameter of the milled portion; the outer smaller end of this intermediate portion being rounded off.
