PATENT OFFICE SIDNEY E. THOMPSON, OF WEST ENGLEWOOD, NEW JERSEY, ASSIGNOR TO COPELAND & THOMPSON, INCORPORATED, OF NEW YORK, N. Y., A CORPORATION OF NEW YORK DESIGN FOR A PLATE OR SIMILAR ARTICLE OF POTTERY Application filed October 14, 1932. Serial R0. 45,864. Term of patent 14 years.

A feature of t e desi is a plurality of series of diamond shape projections located upon the rim of the plate or similar article, each series bein arranged upon an' arcuate line extending rom the inner to the outer edge of the rim and each projection of each series varying gradually in size and contour from one end of the series to the other. Another feature of the design is a double line of diamond shaped projections located just inside the inner edge of the rim. The ornamental features shown on the upper half of the plate in full lines are to be duplicated on the lower half of the plate.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a plate or similar article of potte as shown and described.
