SPRING CLIP Filed Aug. 2, 1935 Patented Get. 24, 1933 UNITED STATES Des. 90,930
PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A SPRING CLIP Augustine J. Todd, Washington, D. C. Application August 2, 1933. Serial No. 48,919
Term of patent 3% years To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, AUGUSTINE J. Tonn, a resident of Washington, District of Columbia, and a citizen of the United States, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for Spring Clips, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
In the drawing:
Fig. 1 is a side view of a spring clip showing my new design;
Fig. 2 is an end view thereof.
My design comprises an opposing pair of jaw members which are of thin material and in side view have the contour of a bird with extensions from the back of the bird that are or suggest out-spread wings, there being one at each side. It will thus be seen that the bird-like appearance is the dominating characteristicof my new design as a part of the clip-forming members.
The ornamental design for a spring clip as shown and described.
In testimonyv whereof I hereunto afiix my signature.
AUGUSTINE J. TODD.
