PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A STEERING WHEEL FOR AUTOMOBILES Otto P. Bereit, Defiance, Ohio, assignor to The Defiance Pressed Steel Company,
Ohio, a corporation of Ohio Application July 26, 1934, Serial No. 52,707
Term of patent 7 years To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Otto P. Bereit, a citizen of the United States, and resident of Defiance, county of Defiance, and State of Ohio, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Steering Wheel for Automobiles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
In the drawing, Fig. 1 is a top plan view of a steering wheel showing my new design. Fig. 2 is an enlarged cross section of one of the spokes thereof taken on the line 2-2 in Fig. 1, in which the novelty of the design particularly resides, and Fig. 3 is an edge view of the steering wheel shown to a reduced scale, the configuration of the hub being conventional.
The ornamental design for a steering wheel for automobiles, substantially as shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto signed my name to this specification.
O'I'IO P. BEREIT.
