PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A FOUNTAIN PEN OR SIMILAR WRITING IMPLEMENT Andreas Bienenstein, Toledo, Ohio, assignor to The Conklin Pen Company, Toledo, Ohio, a
corporation of Ohio To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Andreas Bienenstein, a citizen of the United States and resident of Toledo, in the county of Lucas and State of Ohio, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Fountain Pen or Similar Writing Implement, of which the following is a specification, reference being had therein to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, wherein Figure 1 is an elevational view of a fountain pen showing my new design with the cap applied to the penpoint end; and
Figure 2 is a similar View with the cap removed from the pen end and applied to the other end.
The dominant feature of my design is the ornamentation appearing on the article irrespective of the particular shape of the article itself.
It is understood that my design may be embodied in such articles as fountain pens, pencils, and combination fountain pens and pencils, without departing from the spirit of the invention.
The ornamental design for a fountain pen or similar writing implement substantially as shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto signed my name to this specification.
