March 10, 1936. J GROSSMAN Des. 98,903

Filed Sept. 5, 1934 Patented Mar. 10, 1936 UNITED STATES Des. 98,903

PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A SHOE Application September 5, 1934, Serial No. 53,206

Term of patent 3 /2 years To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that 1, Nicholas J. Grossman, a citizen of the United States, residing at Lynn, in the county of Essex and State of Massachusetts, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Shoe, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, in which Fig. 1 is a view in perspective of a shoe showing my new design, the outline being conventional and shown in dot and dash lines; and

Fig. 2 is a view in side elevation.

The dominant feature of my design resides in a series of straps extending in spaced converging relation from the edge of the sole on the inside of the shank, crossing an elongated opening in the forepart of the upper, buckled beyond the opening and the end of each strap pointing to a separate perforated figure in the upper; each figure including an X-shaped design.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a shoe substantially as shown and described.

In testimony whereof, I have affixed my signature hereto.
