こ の 目 的を達成する た め 、 本発明 に よ れば 、 超音波振 動 源 に 接続さ れ超音波周 波数の機械的振動 を生 じ る超音 波振動伝達具が生物組織 と接触する作業部の外周 に リ ン グ状を な す複数個 の刃 形状部を有す る と 共に 、 そ の 内部 を通る液体通路 を有 し 、 該液体通路 は前記作業部の先端 及び リ ング状の刃形状部間 の谷部 に 開口 し て い る外科手 術用具が提供さ れる 。

(1) 超音波振動 に よ り 生物組織を 切削分離す る た めの 外科手術用 具であ っ て 、 超音波振動源 に接続さ れ超音波 周波数の機搣的振動を生 じ る超音波振動伝達具 が生物耝 糍 と接触す る作業部の外周 に リ ング状をな す複数個の刃 形状部を有する と共に 、 そ の 内部を通る液体通路 を有 し 、 該液体通路の片側 は前記作業部の先端、 及び リ ング状の 刃形状部間の谷部に 開口 し て いる こ と を特徴 と す る外科 手術用具。
(2) 超音波振動伝達具が 、 接合部の手前 お よび / ま た は リ ング状の刃形状部を有す る作業部の手前で屈曲 し て お り 、 超音波振動源の機械的振動方向 に対 し て 、 前 記作 業部の軸線が交差す る こ と を特徴 と す る請求の範囲(1)記 載の外科手術用具。
