Abstract

A magazine grip attachment for ammunition magazines to aid in extraction of a magazine (3) from ammunition pouches (80) comprising a sleeve (1) of resilient material molded in the general shape of a magazine (3) yet with a smaller inner circumference than the circumference of a magazine (3) so as to require the band (19) to stretch over the magazine (3). The top (9) of the band (19) has an even slightly smaller inner circumference than the lower part of the band (19). Extending from the top of the band is a handle (2) designed to allow a finger to wrap around the handle (2) and extract the magazine (3). Recessed areas (22) and four diagonal force distribution beams (15) are provided to constrict the invention and allow it to grip a magazine (3) more snugly when the handle (2) is pulled. The invention is also used in combination with a magazine pouch (80) to deaden noise by biasing the magazines (3a-c) against the pouch (80) and each other.
