Abstract

A microphone stand assembly utilizes a low profile base (10) of modified hexagonal peripheral configuration, and a screw-in shaft (12) of adjustable height. A coarse thread facilitates assembly and disassembly, and an anti-rotation arrangement cooperates with the base construction for preventing inadvertent disengagement of the shaft (12) from the base (10).
