Abstract

A frequency synthesizer (130) is disclosed. The frequency synthesizer (130) comprises a fixed frequency generator (300) configured to generate a fixed frequency signal, a variable frequency generator (302), wherein the fixed frequency signal and the variable frequency signal are combined to provide a fast-hopping output signal.
