Abstract

A system and method for predicting behavioural changes in dynamic systems are disclosed, the system comprising signal providing means (30) arranged to apply a configurable test signal to a dynamic system (31); monitoring means (32) arranged to monitor responses of the dynamic system to the application of said test signal, and to provide response data indicative of said responses; and response processing means (33) arranged to detect changes in said response data and provide predictions therefrom relating to whether the dynamic system is undergoing behavioural changes. Preferred embodiments further comprise means (36) for reconfiguring the test signal in response to an assessment of the response data obtained from the application of an initial test signal. This allows for the analysis procedure to be repeated with a test signal modified in order to provide improved response data.
