Abstract

According to some embodiments, a technique of processing an index comprises receiving a portion of an index (200), wherein the index is associated with an identifier (202); determining whether the identifier is stored (202); and storing the received portion of the index in iubstantially the same entry as the stored identifier, if it is determined that the identifier is stored (208).
