Abstract

A removable gas separation cartridge (206) which includes a housing (230) containing three columns (130), each having an inlet port (132), an outlet port (134), and a bed of adsorbent material (282). The cartridge (206) is removable from an oxygen concentrator (100) which separates oxygen from ambient air by using a vacuum swing absorption process.
