Abstract

An immersion device and a method for removal of limescale and sediment from electric water heating tank including a receptacle container connected to the water tank and disposed beneath its bottom serving to collect limescale and sediment. This container has a draining opening through which limescale and sediment can be efficiently drained. In one preferred embodiment of the present invention, the limescale and sediment receptacle container is integrated with a heating accelerator as a single integral unit which can include means of improving the acceleration of the water heating, and which significantly improves the concentration of heat energy of the water generated at the upper part of the tank, which enables faster access to hot water.
