Abstract

The invention relates to a low pressure discharge lamp comprising a discharge vessel (3) sealed on two ends (31, 32) and a reflector (12) which at least partially surrounds said discharge vessel (3). The low pressure discharge lamp is characterized by a heat-dissipation means (6) which is in contact with the discharge vessel (3) outside the sealed ends (31, 32).
