Abstract

A decal (24) with a transfer paper (26) bearing a release coating adhesive layer (28). A base layer (30) is provided on the paper (26), which layer (30) comprises a mixture of an organic covercoat and a firable white ink. A pattern layer (32) in the form of a barcode of black ink produced by a thermal transfer printer, is provided on the base layer (30).
