Abstract

Device (1) for suspending a picture frame, where the device (1) constitutes part of the wire system that suspends the picture and that the length of the suspension wire (7) may be adjusted while the picture (12) hangs on the wall so that the vertical position of the picture may be adjusted. The device (1) may comprise a wireless alarm unit (3) that is activated when the tension of the suspension wire ceases, i.e. if the picture is removed from the wall.
