Abstract

The present invention relates to a device designed for both depositing and drying dyes and products for treating the hair. The apparatus comprises a tank (12, 16) for the product to be applied, and a heater (11, 17) for drying the latter. The lock of hair is subjected to both operations without any need for directly handling same.

Field of the invention

The invention relates to a device for the dye deposition or treatment product on at least one capillary wick, and to the drying by a heating means of said capillary wick

The invention also relates to a dyeing tank or treatment product for such a device.

The invention further relates to a plug for such a tank.

The invention relates to the field of apparatus for hair care.

Background of the invention

To date, dyeing hair wicks is a laborious operation carried out essentially by professionals, unlike complete dyes where there are products and a market for the general public. The reason for this distinction is the complexity of wicking, which requires the use of hoods and foil ribbons to prevent contamination during drying, as well as isolating each wick for individual dyeing. using a paintbrush. It is sometimes necessary to digitally manipulate the capillary wicks to allow the dye to impregnate the center of the wick.

Many devices exist on the market with both a heater and a tank, but the goal is to produce steam to waving hair. The heating means is therefore intended to heat the tank in the first place and possibly to heat air as a hair dryer. Summary of the invention

In contrast to this prior art, the present invention has the design of an apparatus for carrying out the operations of depositing dye or product treating and drying in a semi-automatic manner.

The present invention proposes to popularize the dyeing of hair wicks with the general public by facilitating handling. The proposed solution integrates the deposition of the dye and the heating for the drying of the capillary wick. By combining these two operations in one device, it avoids involuntary contamination by dyeing and manipulations are facilitated. The whole operation takes place in a space as closed as possible. If necessary, it is possible to add a detachable part, for example: a metal foil envelope, intended to allow the end of drying in a detachable closed space of the main body of the apparatus. For the convenience of the user, one will seek on the one hand to reduce the drying time and will preferably use dyes that lose their ability to contaminate after drying.

Such a device must overcome both the complexity of operations previously carried out manually such as the penetration of the product in the center of the wick, cleanliness involving the ease of cleaning the instrument, no contamination and overflow of the dye or the treating product.

In addition, it is necessary to solve the technical complexity of producing an instrument combining several antinomic functions in a small space such as the heating and storage of dye in a tank, and lastly, the ergonomic and economic aspects specific to an instrument intended for the general public that must remain simple to use, attractive, and financially accessible by the targeted market segment.

None of these requirements can be addressed individually and the interest of the presented embodiments is to propose acceptable solutions according to all the stated criteria. Modes of Advantageous embodiments of the present invention are the subject of the various claims. In particular, according to the invention, the heating means is intended to accelerate the fixation of the dye or the previously deposited hair treatment product.

Thus, the invention relates to a device for depositing dyeing or treatment product on at least one capillary wick, and drying by a heating means of said capillary wick, said device being characterized in that it comprises at least one reservoir containing said dye or said treatment product, or a compound of said dye or said treatment product and a heating means for said capillary wick.

The invention also relates to a dyeing tank or treatment product for such a device, characterized in that said tank is an interchangeable flexible tube whose opening is at the end of a bent nose placed on the largest length of said tube.

The invention also relates to a stopper for such a dyeing tank or hair treatment product, said reservoir comprising at least one support groove, characterized in that it comprises at least one folded retaining edge by support on the edge a groove of said tank.

The invention relates to the field of apparatus for hair care.

The invention relates to a device for the deposition of dye or treatment product on at least one capillary wick, and drying by a heating means of said capillary wick.

According to the invention, this device comprises at least one reservoir containing this dye or this treatment product, or a compound of this dye or this treatment product and a heating means for said capillary wick.

Preferably, the reservoir is a detachable cartridge.

Preferably, the heating means is an electrical resistance. Preferably, the device comprises a chamber comprising a closure means, this chamber being intended to receive and enclose the capillary wick.

Preferably, the reservoir and the heating means are mounted on a portion that is rotatable relative to the chamber so as to present alternately in front of the capillary wick, or else the dye or the treatment product on the one hand, or the means of heating on the other hand.

The heating of the device according to the invention, also named in the present description the apparatus, can reach temperatures close to 200 ° C. It is therefore essential to thermally isolate the hot parts and to prevent them from being accidentally touched by the user. It is advantageous to be able to regulate the heating temperature and in general, heating by electric resistance seems the best suited.

On the other hand, the dye or the treating product must therefore be located in the cold parts of the device as well as the nozzles and any part where the premature drying of the product to be applied interferes with the operation of the device. Another possible solution to reduce the effects of temperature is to use several tanks whose contents differ and can only dry once mixed. This mixture can then be carried out on a roller which, on the one hand, transfers between the reservoir (s) and the capillary wick, distributes the solution, kneads the wick to help the product to be applied to penetrate in its center, and finally prevents the end of the tank or reservoirs come into contact with the hot parts. It may be advantageous if the product is thick and the surface of the roller carrying it has roughness to increase the quantities transported. For thermal reasons as for reasons of space, it is advantageous to provide two zones corresponding to the heating and the removal of the product to be applied. The difficulty lies in that the entire capillary wick to be treated, from the root to the tip, can be in contact with these two areas.

One solution is to keep the wick motionless in a chamber provided with a closure and then to successively switch the two operations: removal of the dye or the treating product and heating. The embodiment shown in the figure represents a rotary core driven switching system on which is mounted a flexible reservoir that a boss press during switching.

Maintaining the capillary wick near a moving and hot part involves precautions so that, on the one hand, the capillary wick can not get caught in the moving part, and on the other hand, the hot part is not accessible. . In one of the proposed embodiments, the chamber provided to receive the wick is partitioned by a flexible mesh allowing the passage of the dye, the variation of the pressure on the capillary wick to mix it and facilitate the penetration of the dye in the center . This mesh comes into contact with the heater but must not be obstructed by the dye or the dried treatment product. This is why it must be made of a material on which the dye or the dried treatment product can adhere and stick. A conventional wire mesh woven with a rigid or semi-rigid wire does not have a uniform thickness and therefore poses a problem of sealing and therefore of cleanliness with respect to the moving part - that is to say the mechanical switching removal and heating functions. This seal will be improved by making the part of the mesh on which the gasket, the nozzles or the scraper intended to facilitate the passage of the dye through the mesh and to ensure the cleanliness of the apparatus.

It is advantageous that the reservoir is a cartridge that can be easily replaced and thus avoids cleaning problems. In order to facilitate cleaning or replace the dye or product cartridge treating, it is advantageous that it is possible to separate without the use of tools, the rotating core of the chamber provided to accommodate the capillary wick.

Most hair dyes have several components that should only be mixed a few minutes before application. It may be advantageous for the reservoir cartridge to have one or more internal walls separating several watertight compartments. These internal walls must be able to be broken or torn by the user so as to allow the mixing of the components before application.

It is important that the amount of dye or treatment product is adapted so as to be able to impregnate the center of the capillary wick, without overflowing and contaminate the wicks or capillary roots around. Several strategies are possible and can be combined with one another: the user can increase the pressure in the tank, perform the dye deposition operation several times, or else a system without intervention where the capillary wick, once introduced into the housing which is intended for it, is maintained by a soft and absorbent cushion which exerts a slight pressure and limits to a minimum the volume of this housing. The amount of product thus injected into the housing corresponds to that which can be fixed by capillarity.

The dye or the treatment product is in liquid or paste form and must be stored in a fixed reservoir or preferably interchangeable in the form of a tube or a capsule. The dye or the treatment product must be able to be extracted without difficulty from said tank. In one embodiment involving mechanical switching of the heating and deposition functions, it is advantageous to use this movement to exert pressure on the reservoir to extract the dye or the treatment product. Insofar as the capacity of the tank allows several handling, it is appropriate to exert a simple pressure on the tank and not to repress all the contents. In the rotary embodiment of FIG. 1, the cartridge tank has enough space to escape the pressure of the boss when it becomes too important.

The deposition and drying operations can also be distributed linearly over the capillary wick. In this case, the difficulty is that the entire length of the capillary wick is exposed to both operations. The solution proposed in the second embodiment of FIG. 2 is to operate in a manner analogous to the traditional manual procedure by using a sheet of metallic paper to allow the previously dyed capillary wick to finish drying independently of the apparatus. The wick is heated before being dyed. The device can be positioned near the root. The device is designed to wrap the hair wick, once the product deposited, between two metal sheets, which are made integral by folding them one over the other with the help of two spouts located on each side to the before the device. The said nozzles acting as a guide to perform the fold. In this mode the metal foils can be heated directly by the appliance.

The type of cartridge used as well as the introduction of the latter and its method of closure is also the subject of claims. The first embodiment requires a reservoir whose mouth is of sufficient size to be able to deposit dye or hair treatment product over the entire length of the capillary wick held in the apparatus. On the other hand, the fact of using the movement to come to press a boss on the cartridge to facilitate the extraction of the contents of the reservoir implies that the capsule is held at its end so as not to move under the pressure of said boss. It is important to ensure that the contents of the tank do not become empty during the introduction of the cartridge. For this purpose, a cover provided to be removable after installation of the cartridge in the device by sliding the cover on the side, is the subject of a claim, as well as the opening of the reservoir provided with slides for to retain and guide said cover. It may be advantageous for said lid to pinch the mouth of the cartridge in order to complete the closure.

- Figure 1 illustrates the cross section of an isometric view of a first embodiment comprising a mechanical switching by means of a rotary core 8. The apparatus operates in the following manner: the capillary wick to be dyed is placed between the lid 2 and the grill 14. Then, the lid 2 of said appliance is closed by means of its hinge 3 and its closing device 4. The lid 2 has a flexible cushion 6 to absorb the thickness of the wick capillary and thermally insulate the cover 2. The core 8 of the device is rotatably mounted. When the user rotates the said core, the dye or treatment product capsule 12 is pressed by a boss 7 integral with the outer casing 1 of the device and releases its contents which impregnate the capillary wick through the mesh 14 .

A spring joint 9 mounted integral with said core 8 will serve as a scraper and promote the passage of the dye or product processing through the mesh 14. When the rotary movement of the core 8 comes into abutment, the heater 1 1 is placed under the 14 to heat the hair wick impregnated with dye or treating product.

The replacement of the dyeing capsule or treating product 12 can be performed by removing the core 8 of the outer casing 1 which surrounds it in the manner of a sheath. To facilitate this operation, the handle remains integral with the core 8 while its guard 5 is integral with the outer wrap 1.

The lid 2 is arranged longitudinally so as to be able to exert pressure along the entire length of the capillary wick. If the latter is longer than the chamber intended to contain it, it is possible to let it stand out and perform the deposition and drying operations in several times.

- Figure 2 illustrates an isometric view and a partial section of a second embodiment. According to this embodiment, the invention is in the form of a manual gripper. The capillary wick comes place longitudinally between the lower and upper part of the clamp. The upper body 22 and lower 28 of the clamp join the axis by the side, leaving the other side free to facilitate the introduction of the capillary wick.

The upper part is formed of the upper body 22, a capsule or dyeing tube 16 or treating product whose opening located against the roller 21 allows to impregnate, the latter comes into contact with the capillary wick for the impregnate in turn. The metal sheet is intended to wrap the capillary wick when it is impregnated by the dye or the treating product to prevent contamination and keep the temperature delivered by the heater 17. The lower part of the handle 25 is pressed on the dye cartridge or treating product. It thus makes it possible to exert pressure on the cartridge and to modulate both the pressure between the lower and upper part of the clamp and the quantity of dye to be deposited. An insulating plate 19 prevents the thermal contact between the upper body of the handle 22 and the heater 17.

The lower part comprises the lower body 28, a metal foil roll 20, two nozzles 29 intended to fold together the upper and lower metal sheets 24 in order to make them integral and to wrap the capillary wick, a heating element 20 heating the lower metal sheet 20 and the capillary wick. Between the latter and the lower body 28, an insulating plate 18 avoids the dispersion of the temperature.

The clip may open to allow the insertion of the capillary wick between the upper insulating plate 19 and the lower metal sheet 20. The capillary wick is introduced longitudinally so that the root of the said papillary lock is located near the beaks The pliers are then closed by ensuring that the upper metal sheet 24 passes through the bending spouts 29 and can thus fold with the lower metal sheet 20. The instrument is then moved to end of the capillary wick so that the ink roller 21 can deposit the dye or product treatment on all the wick capillary. The quantity of dye or treatment product deposited can be controlled by exerting a more or less strong pressure on the lower part of the handle 25.

Claims

1. Device for depositing dyeing or treatment product on at least one capillary wick, and drying by a heating means (11, 17) of said capillary wick, said device being characterized in that it comprises at least one reservoir (12; 16) containing said dye or said treatment product, or a compound of said dye or said treatment product and a heating means for said capillary wick.

2. Device according to claim 1 characterized in that said reservoir is a detachable cartridge (12; 16).

3. Device according to claim 1 characterized in that said heating means is an electrical resistance (1 1; 17).

4. Device according to claim 1 characterized in that it comprises a chamber comprising a closure means (2), said chamber being intended to receive and enclose said capillary wick.

5. Device according to claim 4 characterized in that said reservoir (12) and said heating means (1 1) are mounted on a rotatable portion (8) relative to said chamber so as to present in front of said capillary wick alternately said dyeing or said treatment product, or said heating means.

6. Device according to claim 4 characterized in that said chamber comprising a closure means has a screen wall (14) allowing said dye or said treatment product to penetrate inside said chamber from said reservoir (12).

7. Device according to claim 5 characterized in that said rotatable portion is separable from its fixed casing (1) without tools to facilitate the replacement of said cartridge or the cleaning of said device.

8. Device according to claim 1 characterized in that it is provided with an inking roller (6) for receiving said dye or said treatment product and depositing said dye or said treatment product on said hair wick.

10. Device according to claim 1 characterized in that it is provided with a detachable appendage (24; 20) intended to complete the drying of said capillary wick without risk of contaminating the surrounding capillary wicks.

16. Device according to claim 8 characterized in that it comprises a plurality of reservoirs and said inking roller collects the products of said plurality of tanks for mixing.

17. Device according to claim 10 characterized in that the detachable part is formed of one or more metal sheets (24; 20) which are intended to wrap the capillary wick after said dye or said treatment product has been deposited therein. .

18. Device according to one of the preceding claims characterized in that it is provided with a vibration spraying device.

19. Device according to one of the preceding claims characterized in that it comprises several reservoirs and that the contents of said reservoirs are metered and / or mixed by a piezoelectric system.
