Exemplary embodiments of the present invention are directed towards an entertainment content application configurable in a portable computing device enabling an authorized downloading and eliminating a distribution of a downloaded content. The application includes a first functional tab for displaying a featured information corresponding to a predetermined entertainment content, a second functional tab configured to display a cast and crew information corresponding to the predetermined entertainment content, a third functional tab for enabling a user to play at least one audio file corresponding to the predetermined entertainment content, a fourth functional tab for providing a media content corresponding to the predetermined entertainment content, a fifth functional tab configured to play a movie corresponding to the predetermined entertainment content and a sixth functional tab for enabling the user to view the information corresponding to the predetermined entertainment content over at least one social networking domain and over a entertainment content development server.

ENTERTAINMENT CONTENT APPLICATION, SYSTEM FOR ENABLING AN AUTHORIZED DOWNLOADING OF THE ENTERTAINMENT CONTENT APPLICATION
Technical Field of the Invention
[0001] The present invention generally relates to applications configurable in data communication devices. More particularly the present invention relates to an application entertainment content application configurable in a portable computing device enabling an authorized downloading and eliminating a distribution of the download.
Backeround of the Invention
[0002] Typically, wireless communication devices are ubiquitous in society, which may be mobile phones, digital devices, portable computing devices and like. With the advent of internet access provided to the devices, users may directly browse and download digital content from the available websites through internet. The devices are also provided with a browser or micro- browser applications for accessing internet at the present location of the user for example, while in a journey or in remote areas where the coverage of the devices is present and the like. The digital content downloaded from the internet can be anything like pictures, ringtones, video, audio, games, movies, wallpapers and the like.
[0003] Generally, the users of the wireless communication devices download movies, songs, videos, games or the like from the internet to have an entertainment at the present location and also even share the downloaded information with the other communication devices at a free of cost by using technologies like Bluetooth, IR and like. Thus the entertainment media is loosing its revenue for not getting the enough pay. It would be highly advantageous to provide a portable digital device and content provision methodology that provides the ability for the user of the handset to automatically access all types of content like ringtone, wallpaper, audio visual contents or the like with a particular movie, actor, artist, musician or television show and the like through a single user interface. [0004] It would also be additionally highly desirable to provide novel applications to download different content for a portable computing device which is designed to provide an interactive experience.
[0005] Therefore, it would be further highly desirable to provide a benefit of elimination of distribution or sharing of the downloaded applications to save the entertainment content from piracy.

According to the first aspect, the application includes a first functional tab for displaying featured information corresponding to predetermined entertainment content.

The predetermined categories may include but not limited to a movie, music album, a drama and the like. The portable computing devices 202a, 202b, 202c and 202d individually communicate with the centralized downloading server 204 for downloading the entertainment content applications. The centralized downloading server 204 may include but not limited to an IOS server, android server, OVI server, symbian server or the like.

The content corresponding to the downloaded entertainment content applications could not be shared or sent or distributed to external mobile devices or personal digital assistants. CLAIMS What is claimed is
1. An entertainment content application configurable in a portable computing device enabling an authorized downloading and eliminating a distribution of a downloaded content , comprising: a first functional tab for displaying a featured information corresponding to a predetermined entertainment content; a second functional tab configured to display a cast and crew information corresponding to the predetermined entertainment content; a third functional tab for enabling a user to play at least one audio file corresponding to the predetermined entertainment content; a fourth functional tab for providing a media content corresponding to the predetermined entertainment content; a fifth functional tab configured to play a movie corresponding to the predetermined entertainment content; and a sixth functional tab for enabling the user to view the information corresponding to the predetermined entertainment content over at least one social networking domain and over a entertainment content development server.
2. The application of claim 1, wherein the portable computing device establishes a communication with at least one centralized downloading server for downloading the entertainment content.
3. The application of claim 1, wherein the media content comprises at least one of: a theatrical representation; a trailer; a promotional content; and a ringtone.
4. A system for enabling an authorized downloading of an entertainment content application and to avoid a distribution of the downloaded content, the system comprising: a entertainment content development server authorized to a entertainment content developer for storing a plurality of entertainment content applications corresponding to at least one predetermined category in at least one centralized downloading server; one or more portable computing devices authorized to download the plurality of entertainment content applications stored in the at least one centralized downloading server, where in the plurality of entertainment content applications configurable in the portable computing device and displayed as a layout, the layout comprising: a first functional tab for displaying a featured information corresponding to the predetermined entertainment content; a second functional tab configured to display a cast and crew information corresponding to the predetermined entertainment content; a third functional tab for enabling a user to play at least one audio file corresponding to the predetermined entertainment content; a fourth functional tab for providing a media content corresponding to the predetermined entertainment content; a fifth functional tab for configured to play a movie corresponding to the predetermined entertainment content; and a sixth functional tab for enabling the user to view the information corresponding to the predetermined entertainment content over at least one social networking domain and over a entertainment content development server.
5. The system of claim 4, wherein the portable computing device configured to register with at least one centralized downloading server for downloading the plurality of entertainment content applications.
6. The system of claim 4, wherein the at least one centralized downloading server configured to serve as an interface between the entertainment content development server and the portable computing device.
7. The system of claim 4, wherein the at least one centralized downloading server authorized to a third party service provider.
8. The system of claim 4, wherein the plurality of entertainment content applications configured to download as an individual application configurable in the portable computing device.
9. The system of claim 4, wherein the portable computing device employs a set of data communication protocols for communicating with the at least one centralized downloading server.
10. The system of claim 4, wherein the plurality of entertainment content applications represented as a graphical user interface for accessing the predetermined entertainment content.
11. The system of claim 4, wherein the plurality of entertainment content applications configured to store in an inbuilt memory unit of the portable computing device.
12. The system of claim 4, wherein the plurality of entertainment content applications configured to display audio visual entertainment content in the portable computing device.
13. The system of claim 4, wherein the plurality of entertainment content applications are read only applications.

A system for system for enabling an authorized downloading of an entertainment content application: a entertainment content development server authorized to a entertainment content developer for storing a plurality of entertainment content applications corresponding to at least one predetermined category in at least one centralized downloading server; one or more portable computing devices authorized to download the plurality of entertainment content applications stored in the at least one centralized downloading server, where in the plurality of entertainment content applications configurable in the portable computing device and displayed as a layout; an advertisement database for storing a plurality of advertisements in communication with the entertainment content development server, where by the one or more portable computing devices configured to download the advertisements through the entertainment content development server in conjunction with the plurality of entertainment content applications.
15. The system of claim 14, wherein the one or more portable computing devices further configured to download the advertisements through the at least one centralized downloading server.
16. The system of claim 14, wherein the advertisements comprising a plurality of redeemable credentials.
17. The system of claim 14, wherein the advertisements comprising a plurality of electronic vouchers.
18. The system of claim 14, where wherein the advertisements comprising a plurality of advertisement videos.
