Claims1. A method to stimulate the production of red blood cells in a subject, wherein said subject has been diagnosed as having a less than desirable level of red blood cells, which method comprises administering to said subject an amount of T-4 immune stimulating factor (“TISF”) effective to elevate the red blood cell count. 2. The method of claim 1 wherein said less than desirable level of red blood cells is attributable to anemia. 3. A method to stimulate the production of granulocytes in a subject, wherein said subject has been diagnosed as having a less than desirable level of granulocytes, which method comprises administering to said subject an amount of TISF effective to elevate the granulocyte count. 4. A method to stimulate the production of platelets in a subject, wherein said subject has been diagnosed as having a less than desirable level of platelets, which method comprises administering to said subject an amount of TISF effective to elevate the platelet count. 5. A therapeutic protocol that comprises diagnosing a subject as having a less than desirable level of red blood cells, followed by administering to said subject an amount of TISF effective to elevate red blood cell count in said subject. 6. A therapeutic protocol that comprises diagnosing a subject as having a less than desirable level of granulocytes, followed by administering to said subject an amount of TISF effective to elevate granulocyte count in said subject. 7. A therapeutic protocol that comprises diagnosing a subject as having a less than desirable level of platelets, followed by administering to said subject an amount of TISF effective to elevate platelet count in said subject. |
