Ii??? My personal opinion is get a device with as such built in memory, both

_ILI2 flash ROM and RAM, as you can afford. Yes, you can add memory in the form of SD or CF cards later, but there are disadvantages to depending on added

memory that should be pretty obvious.

Almost all the Ctll'l'L‘IlI hatch of PocI;:IP(.T based devices Ii-ave the $01110 ~:oI'c
IDCZIIIIIQS (tllsplay sixc, colors, rcs0lIIIion- ccpt t is iPa<1s. w larger screw-Its) and include the sziinc basic applicutioiis fwinilows Nletiizi
Player, Pocket versions of Excel. Outlook, Word}. So out of the box you'll
be able to do prety much the same things as you described on any of the
Pocket PCs.

Now, here's where they differ in features, price and accessories. Some
have smaller flasch ROMs and/or less Ram. I strongly urge you to stick to
48MB ROM and 64MB RAM devices. Why? Operating system upgradability, simple
as that. As each versions of the OS gets bigger and bigger, you'll need the
most ROM available to house it. THose of us still holding on to our iPag
36101 machines only had 16MB ROMS (don't start about the few 32MB ROM autants
out there) and have only been able to have limited OS upgrades (some major
parts were eitper lefl off or had to he loaded to RAM).

.,fl6 in retrospect the Ipaq 54 xx has both bluetooth and wi-ti and has the nice BIG birght clear screen.

661 like the color, the swivel screen, the virtual grafitti are and the camer

66 the bigger screen is always, a plus, internet experience is the greatest (especially on sprint's fast networking).

66 I don't even need it to display street/tenain data - just current location, cache and interesting spot locations, a scale indicator,
and maybe a compass and the time.

66 So I would like a color screen

66 Probably Netbook is better with large, colour screen, but it's also much larger, its the sixe of modern subnotebooks, so now
you would better choose one of them.

66 I find most things about the phone as good as you could reasonably expect in a multi-function device like this - the display screen
is big and clear, and the keyboard is usable despite being small.

66 - incredible screen

66 I have a Toshiba p 740 fantastic shape/not a blemish on the screen!) with a leather case by Toshiba, Belt clip and twin sll slots

/ 66 "Probably the most useless Today compnent ever" is the way Stellannetrics have described their new free Today screen
3 2 66 I have successfully replased a broken screen on the E 115 (basically the same unit)
66 Of course, it's way too big for my liking, much of that due to the soon-to-be unnecessary built-in touch-screen display.

66 Screen cover -- actually, at first, I thought that this was the worst feartrue of the Tungsten T

66 No, but seriously, l don't need two hnads to remove the crappy plastic screen cover.

66 Because I had more storage space on the Palm (l use Documents to Go, but the screen is too small to rnake it useful)»I installed
QED on the Visor!

66 l don't get why they had to use a 2 5 mm jack, the d-pad is not nearly as nice as the Timgsten T, the screen is not as responsive
as it should be and not having SDIO doesn‘t make much sense.
