Sprint Expands Sprint PCS Wireless Web From 130 Sites To More Than 1.3 Billion Web Pages With Google
Sprint PCS Customers Nationwide Can Now Wirelessly Access Any of More Than 1.3 Billion World Wide Web Pages, 2.2 Million WAP-ready Web Pages, and Search Specific Sites Within the Sprint PCS Wireless Web

City, Mo. and Mountain View, Calif.--May 21, 2001--Sprint PCS (NYSE:
PCS), the nation's fastest growing all-digital, all-PCS nationwide wireless
network, today announced it has expanded the Sprint PCS Wireless Web
from 130 sites to more than 1.3 billion World Wide Web pages by integrating
the award-winning Google search engine. Available now, Google's intelligent
search technology automatically converts HTML web pages into a format
optimized for WAP phones. In addition, Google's fully integrated search
engine enables customers to search and browse 2.2 million WAP-ready
web pages, and to conduct a search for specific content within the Sprint
PCS Wireless Web.
Sprint PCS customers can access Google's easy-to-use search engine through the "Web Portals" and "Tools & Reference" folders, or through the "Menu" soft key on the Sprint PCS Wireless Web.
