this tv tuner has digital over the air, analog over the air, and analog cable tv capabilities. I use it in my dorm on my laptop to watch tv. I get some HD signals (UC Berkeley) but not too many, so I usually just connect it to the wall cable line. My only gripe is that when you install it, it screws up your codecs and breaks video playback. I tried it on 2 computers running windows xp and windows vista and confirmed this. I was able to fix it by installing the Full k-lite codec pack (google it), then checking the option to quot;detect broken codecs quot; and it finds the problem and fixes it. That aside, this is overall a perfect device and cheapest here at Buy.com. 5/5

The TV tuner itself is good except the size is bigger than I expected when attached to Asus Eee PC. Installed on WinXP PC the software and restarted. Connected the tuner and start configuration. The configuration was a little bit confusing. The overall user interface is ok. I like the Miscrsoft Vista media player interface better. Performance is fine with cable (comcast). Reception of on air signal is not every good. The attached antena is not every useful. I have attached a rabbit ear antena from radio shock the quality is better but still not as good as my Sony TV. I don t have a digital TV to test the the digital signal. If you have cable connection this is a good device for watching/recording TV on your PC.

I couldn't get it to get even one channel. I even hooked it to the outside antena and that didn't even work. Would not recommend it to anyone. Read full review
