BlueAnt X5 Stereo Bluetooth Headset headset - Behind-the-neck, Binaural from BlueAnt Wireless in Headsets & Microphones

This is the only product I was able to locate that would stream stereo music and provide 2 way voice communication with VOIP. It was frustrating to configure because my VOIP preferred a USB connection, but after a few hours of working with my VOIP application I was able to configure the CISCO IP VOIP Communicator to work with the stereo and mike jack on the PC. Once that was accompished, the only trouble I have is Net meeting wants to adjust the mike settings each time I host. The battery spec indicates gt;12 hours. That seems correct with the headset, but the streamer is lt;4. I keep it continuiously plugged in to the charger, because once the battery gets low, it sends a terrible noise over the VOIP and then disconnects. Blue Ant support was weak at the first level. Most did not even know what VOIP was, so ask for the someone with VOIP experience if you need it. Overall it is a great product with about a 30 Blue Tooth range. Very nice product, I would highly recommend.

I have had this product for about 4 months now. The headphones function quite well once connected. The sound and microphone are pretty good, although the base could be more responsive. The connection range is about 30 ft as promised. The battery life is acceptable as well. The issues I have are around durability. These are plastic parts and the battery connections are very sensitive. The battery connection will fail if I tap that side of the headphones which can be quite annoying. The headphones have no case and they don t collapse flat so it s not easy to store them in your laptop bag. Good product, but its just not quite there yet.

I am impressed with the lightweight of this item. The headphones stay on your ears without placing them over your ears. This is convenient for quick removal. The controls are large enough for easy control. Great performance giving you quality listening to your music or speaking on the phone. The only issue is to check first to see if it is compatible to your cell phone for all the headset controls to work properly.
