CyberPower CP1285AVRLCD UPS from CyberPower Systems in UPS & Power Devices

This is my 3rd CyberPower UPS and once again, it is perfect. I actually bought this one to replace a different one (CyberPower Intelligent LCD Series GreenPower UPS CP1000AVRLCD 1000VA 600 Watt) that went to my other PC. In comparison to my previous UPS, this one is much thinner and stands taller. At first I was skeptical of that size change, but I actually like the new one much better. The only CON compared to the other UPS is the fact that this one has 1 less battery powered outlet. Enough power to run my AMD Phenom II X4 powered board in Antec 900 case with 2 internal and 1 (2 RAIDed drives) external HDD, and a 24 inch Acer monitor for about 14 minutes. Windows 7 recognizes the UPS without any problems. Front LCD gives all the information you ll ever need at a press of a button and turns off pretty quickly, so it isn t annoying. The UPS is completely silent, it s design is very simple and elegant that you ll never notice it s there and if you will, it will only add to the interior.

I replaced my APCs with two CyberPower CP1285 UPSs and haven t looked back. The LCD is very nice and the price couldn t be beat. I recommend.
