very happy with this set
Consumer Reports - Dave - Oct 22, 2009Pros: Bright image, Lifelike color, Overall picture quality, Sharp detail ... Cons: Not enough connections This has been a great set. The HD quality is great. HD is broadcast in 720p so why buy 1080p? I got a great deal on it. You have to adjust the set how you like it, the normal setting are too bright. Hook up your own sound system. -
great entry level tv

Cons: Glare/reflections on screen Was looking for an entry level plasma for my basement.Did some research,most sites had me leaning towards the panasonic 50x1.Went to stores and saw these two tvs next to each other.The lg looked alot brighter.I took a shot and went with it.I have not second guessed myself for this purchase.After alittle tweaking,I am very happy with this tv.I have a samsung 6 series lcd in my living room which is an amazing picture,but for a third of the price you can get this tv,and the picture is really good.Only con i found so far is that there is a slight glare problem,if tv has a window infront of it or bright lights.but is bareable.I reccomend this tv for the price A+
