Great Dryer

What's great about it: dries large loads quickly "I haven't had to run a second cycle yet! Everything from blankets to towels to pillows are dried to perfection in the first run. Dryer is barely noticeable when running, but buzzer at the cycle end is loud enough I can hear it anywhere in the house. I love the light in the dryer so I can see if I grabbed everything. -
Wish I had my 20 year old Maytag back
Consumer Reports - Big E - Jan 5, 2010Pros: Easy To Use ... Cons: Loud The dryer is used about every third day. It dries our laundry fine but the constant thumping noise is loud and annoying. It also causes the dryer to visibly shake. A factory tech replaced the rubber drum rollers and belt idler pulley but it made no difference. I noticed the rollers were only about one third as wide as the ones in our 20 year old Maytag dryer that we replaced which by the way ran stone quiet. The construction is very cheap. I will probably never buy another Maytag product. -
