FYI about the AC adapter: You probably have an AC adapter laying around your house that will work. It says it needs 7-9 volts DC. I found an AC adapter laying around that said it put out 7.5 Volts DC and it works great! Check your junk drawers, you just might have something that works and will save you some money! -

Buy.com - Michael Lenahan - Feb 8, 2009The Brother 1880 was an excellent price and easy to use; I saw it at Office Max for $49.99, I paid $19.99. Also the extra tape I bought was at least $5 cheaper and I couldn t find the adapter there at all. Everything that I have purchased at Buy.com has been an exceptionately good price, shipping is usually free and the quality is great. All the items I have purchased are name brands but at greatly reduced prices. I would recommend your website to anyone.
