Thermaltake BlacX ST0005U Storage enclosure- Serial ATA-300- 300 MBps from Thermaltake Technology in Storage Adapters

What's great about it: Well built, incredibly easy to use, and works great! ... What's not so great: Nothing so far. "Well after my old hard drive crashed a week ago, I had got a new hard drive for my computer,but I had lost all my pictures and stuff, so I decided to try a HD docking station to see if I could repair the broken hard drive with disk warrior. So when I got it I plugged it into my computer and put the HD in it, and my mac recognized it immediately, and best of all disk warrior was able to repair it and get my all my stuff back!!! So now I am using it and my now working HD as an external drive, and it works great!

What's great about it: Plug and play "I purchased this to help recover data from my failed WD 1TB MyBook World Edition drive. Power had failed to the WD Device (no light) but I could hear the drive spinning and with more than 500GB of data at stake I needed to take action. I removed the 1TB 3.5 SATA Drive from the MyBook world and plugged it into this, connected it to my PC via USB and PRESTO - All my files were there and accessible. The fact that this device worked immediately under Ubuntu 9.04 without any special work or command lines sealed the deal for me. Best product I've purchased this year.

What's great about it: Very seldom do you get a product anymore that does what it says it does but this is one that works... ... What's not so great: Wish I thought of this idea.... "Very seldom do you get a product anymore that does what it says it does but this is one that works....Great idea....Very easy to use.....Plug and play.....Simple...I had my external 750 gig Seagate HD go belly up....So I removed the external shell and removed the HD....I placed the HD into this device and it worked like a charm....Love this product...
