Easy Install

I set this hard drive up to use as an external esata drive to back up my computers. So far it s working great and exceeding my expectations. I use it with an Antec MX-1 USB SATA actively cooled hard drive enclosure and it stays cool. I ve done several backup and restore operations and just switch to the USB connection on the computers without the esata function. Buy.com sent the order quickly. -
Beware - This is a Bare/OEM Drive
Buy.com - Steve - May 27, 2009FYI, although the description does not say so, this is a bare drive. There is no cable nor booklet. Wish it would have said this, so that I could have ordered a $10 cable to use with this. Also, one of the images above shows this in a retail box, but it does not ship this way. Still an ok price, but the effective price is actually higher as you need a SATA and power cable. -
