- About me
My real estate career began in 1978 in a small suburb outside of Chicago, Berwyn, IL. This was at a time when there was no computerized MLS (I can not even begin to tell you how happy I am that technology has changed the ways I do business.) and adjustable rate mortgages and interest rates were in the high teens. Since I came to real estate from a credit management background, I quickly learned how to sell listings with FHA and VA loans, contract sales, and holding second mortgages.
My husband Don and I honeymooned in Naples, FL. The great weather and pristine beaches made us decide that one day we would live in Naples. 1996 found us saying good bye to Chicago land’s cold winters and moving to Pelican Bay in Naples. Downing Frye Realty, Inc., a large independent real estate firm in Naples, FL, attracted me to its company, where I have been happily working listing and selling real estate in the sunshine.
My accomplishments in the Real Estate industy have been many over the last 31 years. I have been a Realtor Associate of the Year in the West Towns Board of Realtors, a past President of the West Suburban Illinois Chapter Woman’s Council of Realtors. I have served as a Realtor Political Action Committee Chairperson and participated on committees for Public Relations in DuPage County IL and the Naples Board of Realtors’ MLS. In the many years I was with Re/Max in Chicagoland, I was awarded Re/Max 100% club membership multiple times. I am a Graduate of the Realtor’s Institute, an e-PRO®, and is a Broker – Associate in the State of FL.
I enjoy living in Naples and love introducing buyers to Naples sunny days, sandy beaches, warm Gulf waters, and spectacular sunsets
