Amanda Walsh

I am in Bucks County, PA for the summer working in the office at Furia Rubel Communications until September 2009.

I will be returning for a second year to work as an "Auxiliar de Conversación" or Language Assistant in Madrid Spain during 2009-2010. This grant is provided through the Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia in Spain. 

I provide support by co-teaching English with a Spanish teacher in a bilingual, public elementary school.  I work with children ranging from age seven to ten years old.  This experience has allowed me to become fully immersed in the Spanish culture.

I plan to use this international work experience to hone my Spanish language and cultural knowledge to set myself apart from my peers.

Upon my return to the States in the Summer of 2010, I will continue to learn how to become an expert in the public relations industry.
